Introduction

Identification means ‘mind in mind’.

A little harder explained: identification is an imaginary imaging* in the mind* of man* (= the viewer/the public = customer = King), in which the consumer mirrors* her/himself* with greater or lesser extent in offered (Audio-Visual*) situation(s) in which he/she recognize him/herself to a greater or lesser extent, presently, backwards and/or forwards.

Identification* comes from idea* and entity* (appearance), being jointly one.

To explain the concept of 'identification', a semantic visualization of the English concept of 'identity' will do enlightening good:
I = me .... ID = idea …. entity = appearance.
In other words: I have an (inner) idea of a manifestation, corresponding to the (outer) actual event.
As a result, the mind of 'me' of the spectator "forget" myself, and becomes one with the projected image.


Identification can be defined as: unification on an imaginary way of the spectator in a projection.
The basis of this Human mind-melting is the emphasis on similarities (one flavor) instead of on differences (duality*).

From this point of view follows, that the viewer the manifestation-appearance already more or less knows, after which he/she recognizes the story-telling and this admits, so his/her mind goes smoother within the (film)story.
In other words: I-me-viewer have an idea what corresponds to a manifestation (in this case the manifestation of a film product) and I want to and can give myself the mentally freedom to become more or less one with it.
This is the essence of film and dream (and social life…).

Important is that Casting International the possibility of identification in its products let not be based in a person (e.g. an idol or celebrity, or a movie star), but in a story-telling.


 5 forms of identification

There are 5 degrees of identification; each gradation represents a kind of AV product.
Ranging from at least an I-me-myself who disappears completely to the background,
up the viewers’ mind that is one with the projection/images display,
up to only inner energy that flows (thoughts, emotions and possibly sexual energies that one receives with the projected play);
till that it's like as if looking from "above" to the projection/image display,
up to and including critical and distant looking at it without feelings, such as only analyzing.


Effects of identification-doctrine

In the one-way street of communicating in the conventional AV media, the concept of 'identification' is to activate (by film and TV-programs) the means of emotions of the viewer (thrillings; curiosity, eagerness to learn and "rubbernecking").
Application of the identification doctrine leads to zapping-to, and works against zapping-away.
A special story-telling film product by Casting International intends to an identification of the viewer's mind to take place in the fields of consciousness, sub-consciousness and unconscious.
For this, new communication tactics (methodologies) and new communication techniques are used.

The identification doctrine is only to use in the entertainment part in our films en TV-programs.
Because of our golden rules, hypnosis or other forms of moralistically manipulating brainwashing’s are strictly forbidden within (productions) of our organization.
In fact: the Art of living is to be constantly aware: believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who have said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

Marketing identifications

There are also developed identification* criteria* for sales account managers.
This gives the sales staff the 'tools' (= criteria*) to make functions* and relationships* more efficiently by putting them in the right market*, seen from perspective of the Casting International product* and reasoned to the needs of entertainment and/or education of our customer.
All these criteria, presentation scripts, workflow procedures, etc. are contained in policy documents and part of the internal training, syllabi, lessons and teachings for ''home grown’’ staff.
